Acer Philippines Headquarters
This is one of the most treasured works of the company. This project seeks to find a solution to the scorching heat penetrating the interiors of their 3,300 square meter office. A floor to ceiling blinds were used, but they weren’t enough to lessen the heat within the building. As a design solution, the building was given a second layer of weather proof, lightweight aluminum that gave the look of wooden slats that still allowed natural light to pass through. We also installed a third layer of high growing Japanese bamboo for additional weather protection and aesthetic element to give the building a softer feel.
